Description:
I won't do my usual thing where I rave for way too long about bands that I already love.  I already love Coping.  I'm super bummed that they're breaking up.  This record doesn't make that any better, but it's a stellar fucking record.  B's "you're talking so fucking loud, I can't hear anything" and subsequent riffing is this record's sweet-spot, kind of like the entire song "F for Now" from their split with the Clippers.  This whole record sounds exactly like the first truly cold days of Fall feel like: that gritty, cooling, invigorating feeling of change.  It's introspective at a couple points, but all around midwest emo at its very finest.  I'm not going to ramble, the record deserves better.  Protagonist Music is going to put this on vinyl this winter, please make sure to pick it up then.  If there's anyone in Coping or at Protagonist that doesn't want this link up, email me.
