Description:
Yeah so I think I may be one of the few people in the world right now who never listened to Modern Baseball's debut album, Sports.  Fuckin' sue me.  It wasn't that I just pushed it aside and never gave it the time of day, I just happened to not be really involved in any kind of new music after 2010 until like 2-3 months ago.  Even now it's hard to catch up on certain things and get back into the groove that we once had at this blog, but hey, we're trying!  Anyway, this really reminds me of a more laid back and emo-influenced version of older Man Overboard which is why I named them as one of the 'For Fans Of'.  Maybe it's just me but I just get a huge MO and Tigers Jaw vibe from these guys, as if they were meshed together in like 2009.  I mean, the songs themselves sound like they could have been released yesterday or in 1991, which is rad on it's own.  I can honestly say that I completely regret not having the option to hear these guys for the past couple of years because they are insanely good.  This band is going to get big, I mean like, really big in the next 2-3 years.  This album is so fucking catchy and radio friendly that this may be the band that puts better music on the map.  Let's all hope these guys get far in the world of music, because I want to hear more and more.
