Description:
Flowers Taped to Pens is easily one of the better screamo bands to come out in the last 5 years. They are masters at combining really atmospheric instrumentation that accentuates the harsh vocals. Their latest release is a compilation of songs that they partially recorded in August of 2014 and finished in December of 2015 and it was all done in a garage. I know most of you downloaded some of their stuff when I posted the discography awhile back, and if you liked them then you will love them now. These songs are some of their best work to date, and I hope they continue making things but this compilation makes me think they have called it quits. Regardless, if you dig the old screamo bands from the 90s and early 2000s I would imagine this would be a great listen for you. Enjoy!
