Description:
If you were here during the glory days of the blog then you would probably know how much I love Raein.  They always came hard with the best screamo, and it speaks volumes when you don't even understand any of the lyrics.  Raein are legitimate veterans of the genre and I have nothing but the utmost respect for them.  That being said this is absolutely not the Raein I am used to listening to.  This EP gives me faint vibes of someone like Pianos Become the Teeth, while still remaining true to their noise-ridden angrier selves.  It just seems like they decided to tone it down a notch with the instrumentals and make this release a little more correct and calculated if that makes any sense.  Overall, I'm okay with this and I wouldn't mind getting a full album with a similar style.
